World Turtle Day

I love turtles. A lot. I recently went to a home I'm selling to do a walk through and the tenants have a desert tortoise as a pet. I must confess I almost spend more time hanging out with "Koopa" than I did looking at the house. I also spend inordinate amounts of time looking for sea turtle every time we travel to Hawaii. I think my love of turtles comes from my Grandfather. He loved them too and passed it down to me.
This year is the 17th Annual World Turtle Day. It was created to help people celebrate and protect turtles and tortoises and their habitats around the world. The day's website has info on how you can help rather than hurt these wonderful animals. I'll link it below.
