/Some renovations bring in great returns, others, not so much. When you are getting ready to sell your house it can be difficult to know which projects are worth your time and money and which are not. Lucky for us there is a company that does a study every year on which projects yield the most return on investment - and it’s specific to where you live! It’s called the 2023 Cost vs. Value Report. In addition to the excellent data in this report, it’s always helpful to have an agent walk through your home with you prior to starting work. I am in and out of homes every day of the week and know what shows well and what does not. I can let you know what simple things are worth your time. For example, it’s not a renovation, so not included in this report, but deep cleaning your home typically yields around a 586% return on your investment! That’s pretty good.
