May 2018 Events in Salt Lake City
/It seems all I hear about for what to do in May is see Hamilton, but at this point in time if you don't already have tickets you aren't going. So let's talk about some shows that are actually possible to see this coming month.
1. Monty Python's Spamalot
Spamalot is being put on by Salt Lake Community College and it runs from May 17th until June 9th. Get tickets and info below.
2. Fun Home
Salt Lake Acting Company is performing "Fun Home" from April 4th through May 13th. It's based on a graphic novel and has won five Tony Awards. Click below for details.
3. The Music Man
The brand new Hale Center Theatre in Sandy is open and from April 16th until June 9th they will be presenting "The Music Man." This is my dad's favorite musical and he's very excited. Hale Center is alway fun with their theater in the round.
4. Jurassic Park City
For a bit more levity, check out "Jurassic Park City" at the Off Broadway Theatre. It runs from April 27th until June 2nd. This little theater is a nonprofit that strives to provide family friendly, funny entertainment. And they usually succeed. They have improv shows every weekend too.
Even if you didn't score Hamilton tickets, there is still plenty to do and enjoy!
