2019 Hazardous Waste Collection Events
/Each year the Salt Lake County Health Department hosts Household Hazardous Waste Collection Events throughout the county. At these events Salt Lake County residents can bring their hazardous garbage that you are not supposed to put into your regular trash cans. Things like pharmaceuticals, fuels, chemicals, and batteries. And it's free!
There are a couple differences this year. First, you cannot discard of old electronics at these events this year. Second, rather than being interspersed throughout the summer, they will be held in May and in September.
I'll post a link to their site and the flyer with the event info below. If you can't make it to the event, you can take these items to the landfill for free anytime during the year. That includes electronics.
