Salt Lake City Real Estate Heartbeat March 2016

It's time for my monthly check-in on the Salt Lake Real Estate Market. The inertia of February has continued through March as well.  According to the Wasatch Front Regional Multiple Listing Service (MLS) there is now just over 4 months of inventory on the market. That still keeps us in a moderate seller's market. Again, that typically means that homes will sell close to asking price and that prices will rise. So far in 2016 homes have been selling for an average of 96% of asking price in an average of 61 days.

The Realtor's Confidence Index Report on the February 2016 Survey states that nationally the real estate market is doing well and expected to stay strong over the next 6 months. They have predicted an average home price increase of 3.6% over the next year.

If you're wanting to list your home in this seller's market contact me and we'll get started! I've been killing the Salt Lake average - my homes sell at an average of 99% of asking price in 34 days.

I'm a weapon for you buyers too. A client of mine was just able to get the home she wanted under contract. She beat out 5 other buyers and her offer wasn't even the highest! I can help you find the right place and write an offer that is competitive and alluring to any seller.  Give me a call today!
