Today is Kouign Amann Day. (Kind of pronounced "queen amahn.") These are flaky, butter, sugary pastries that are soooooooooooo good. If you haven't had one I would suggest heading over to Les Madeleines or Fillings & Emulsions right away to correct this wrong. You will not regret it. I'll even post links to each of those bakeries below so you don't have any excuses!
