There is fun to be had in our great city in August. Here are a few ideas.
1. Thanksgiving Point Two Buck Tuesdays
Each year Thanksgiving Point offers $2 admission to each of it's venues on every Tuesday in August. That includes The Museum of Ancient Life, Farm Country, Ashton Gardens and The Museum of Natural Curiosity. There are also a bunch or $2 food deals at the venues. Click below for all the details.
2. Heber Valley Railroad Themed Rides
The Heber Valley Railroad, "Heber Creeper," often does themed rides. In August they have a Star Wars Train with costumed characters, trivia, games and more. They also have a Comedy Murder Mystery that included dinner and the train right. You can get tickets below.
3. Kimball Arts Festival
Salt Lake City had its Arts Festival in June. Park City's is in August from the 3rd to the 5th. It's sure to be much cooler than Salt Lake's, but just as much fun. Get more info below.
4. Utah Beer Festival
August 18th and 19th is the 2018 Utah Beer Festival. It's at the State Fair Grounds and features over 200 beers and ciders to sample. There will be local, national and international varieties available. There are food vendors too!. Ticket info is below.
5. Made In Utah Festival
The Gateway is hosting the Made in Utah Festival on Saturday, August 25th. This street festival has food, artwork, music and more all from local vendors and entrepreneurs. It's a great chance to learn what gold can be found here in our local community.
