Come join me and Mike this Saturday, September 12th, for the annual Avenues Street Fair! The fair is on 3rd Avenue between O and T Streets. Our booth is between R & S Streets on the south side. If Mike and I are are not enough of a draw, we are sandwiched between Hatch Family Chocolates and Just Iced Cookies. 

The Avenues Street Fair kicks off each year at 9am with the Children's Parade. All families, kids and pets are invited to "dress up and skate, board, ride your bike, wagon or scooter, or walk in the parade." There are two stages bookending the fair with all-day live entertainment and 200 booths of local artists, food vendors and community organizations. You'll find free Children's activities and giveaways everywhere you turn. My favorite is the Salt Lake City's library booth - each kid gets a free, age-appropriate book. The best part is that it's free for everyone.
