February Events in Salt Lake City
I've said before how much I love our city and all it always has to offer. The month of February doesn't disappoint. Beyond our normal wintery activities (skiing, sledding, ice skating, etc), there is lots of warm indoor fun to be had. Here are just a few.
1. Nature's Ultimate Machines Exhibit at the Natural History Museum of Utah
This special exhibit opens on February 10th and runs through September 3rd. It's replacing the Vikings exhibit that ran through the end of last year. It will feature the marvels of natural engineering in crocodiles, giraffes, cheetahs and more. And it will exhibit technological breakthroughs that were inspired by nature.
2. Tony Caputo's Classes and Events
Tony Caputo's is a great place for lunch if you've never tried it. And beyond that they offer classes and events regularly - learn about chocolate making, wines & bitters, or take a cooking class. There are so many different possibilities!
3. Jazz Games
It's winter and it's basketball season. The Utah Jazz have 6 home games in February alone. Click below for their schedule and tickets.
4. Utah Arts Festival Masquerade Ball
Every year the Utah Arts Festival hosts a Masquerade Ball to benefit the summer festival we all enjoy. This year it's on February 24th and promises to be a good time.
There is always something for everyone here in this great place we call home.
